  unfortunetly with colder weather and worse road conditions for the car, and with added use of heating for the inside of the car it will lead to more strain on the battery and consequently to shorter range and capacity. This is a problem for all electric cars in wintertime. Even gas cars use more fuel in wintertime because of the added cold and road conditions. Winter tyres are also not as efficient as summer tyres and will cause a decrease in range.
  
  Some tips for longer range:
  
  

  1. Keep the battery warm: Electric car batteries are less efficient in cold temperatures. To increase the range, it is important to keep the battery warm. This can be done by preheating the car while it is still plugged in or by using the battery's preheat function.

  2. Minimize the use of cabin heating: Heating the cabin uses a lot of energy, which can decrease the car's range. To minimize the use of cabin heating, try wearing warm clothing and using heated seats or a heated steering wheel.

  3. Plan your route carefully: In cold weather, it is important to plan your route carefully to ensure that you are not driving longer than necessary. This can help you conserve battery power and increase your range.

  4. Check your tire pressure: In cold weather, tire pressure can drop, which can increase rolling resistance and decrease your range. Check your tire pressure regularly and keep them properly inflated.
